The 2010 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XXI Olympic Winter Games or the 21st Winter Olympics, will be held on February 12–28, 2010, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with some events held in the resort town of Whistler, British Columbia and in the Vancouver suburb of Richmond. Both the Olympic and Paralympic Games are being organized by the Vancouver Organizing Committee (VANOC). The 2010 Winter Olympics will be the third Olympics hosted by Canada, and the first by the province of British Columbia. Previously, Canada was home to the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec and the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Alberta.

There will be both a men’s and a women’s division. There are 10 teams in each group. They will play a round robin tournament and the top 4 teams will advance to the semi finals. Biathlon at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics will be held at the Whistler Olympic Park, which will host all the Nordic events, at the base of Whistler Blackhomb mountain. There will be ten different events, both in men’s and women’s category, that will take place. The events differ from men and women.

For Men’s: 4 x 7.5 km Relay, 10 km Sprint, 12.5 km Pursuit, 15 km Mass Start , 20 km Individual

For Women’s : 4 x 6 km Relay, 7.5 km Sprint, 10 km Pursuit, 12.5 km Mass Start, 15 km Individual
